"Vue sur mer" label

Vue sur mer® is a registered mark , owned by the association of the same name. Holiday accommodations selected are allowed to include the logo "Vue sur Mer ®" on their communication papers and on their Web sites.


The association

Vue sur mer® association is composed of tourists and tourism professionals. It provides information on tourist destinations by the sea in France. To promote sea view accommodations, we has set up the "Vue sur Mer ®" label and we publish a web guide available free without subscription.

The Label conditions

The Vue sur mer® label is reserved for holiday accommodations enjoying a real front sea view : vacation rentals, hotels or campsites. The side sea views and small sea views are not accepted. The views on a seaport shall be allowed. Views on a port located at the mouth of a river are excluded.
Holiday accommodations are usually selected on client referrals or after information from the tourism offices. Visits are conducted by the association to verify the compliance of the label. Clients of accommodations are invited to make any comments on the appropriateness of the use of the label.
